We're not going to lie about this story. Though normally we are truly selfless seekers and purveyors of news, trawling sites, making calls and generally doing everything we can to get you the latest news. True, we mostly fail and end up just rewriting other people's stories, but the point is we try. But this story, well, this is different. Basically, we just really want tickets to go and see Lou Barlow, who has just announced dates. Having played recently with Dinosaur Jr as well as reissuing three Sebadoh albums, Barlow is set to play a handful of gigs in support of his recent Goodnight Unknown LP.

Following live shows with Dinosaur Jr and the reissue of three of Sebadoh's classic albums, Lou Barlow has just announced a set of UK and European solo live dates.

Lou Barlow will be performing tracks from his stunning recent album, Goodnight Unknown, as well as from his vast back catalogue.

The tour, which kicks off in Brussels on January 30th will call at the Deaf Institute in Manchester, Dingwalls in London, Stereo in Glasgow, before heading to Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne.
