Maroon 5 are to release a remix album, Call & Response, on December 9th. They've actually managed to dupe some pretty impressive names to help them out, plus Mark Ronson. One can only assume that the likes of the legendary DJ Premier, Just Blaze and ?uestlove either haven't actually heard Maroon 5, intend to rip the songs to within an inch of their beige lives, or are in need of a new ivory back scratcher. Mark Ronson, on the other hand, will agree to fucking anything.

Lead singer Adam Levine had the following to say to Billboard.com: "I've always found it really interesting that a group of people looking at the same painting can all see different things. That was the idea behind this record - to take a few of our songs and have them interpreted by some of our favorite artists. We were really blown away by what they came up with."

It's funny he says that, because every single second of music that I've ever heard by Maroon 5 leads me to see this..
