MJ accident video appears online
Jul 16, 2009
Usmagazine.com have described an infamous incident, in which Michael Jackson suffered a nasty injury, as being responsible for his addiction to painkillers and his bizarre penchant for plastic surgery.
In a video that has just been released online, the incident is shown unfolding in full. The accident occurred in the sixth take of the filming of a Pepsi commercial, with a pyrotechnic going off too early. Seeminly oblivious to the fact that his head is on fire, MJ continues to perform in front of the bemused crowd. It seems like a remarkably long time before anyone actually reacts to the situation, before far too many people jump in and start to beat him around the head. With his scalp glowing and smoking, he's then pulled offstage.
With the singer's recent death being attributed to a painkiller addiction (alongside suicide, murder, the black death, aliens and others), this could well indicate the point where it started going very wrong for the poor lad.
Maybe if when his head caught fire, the band and crew could have all jumped in and poured Pepsi on his head, thus dousing the flames, it would have given them a damn good, if slightly surreal advert....
We would like to say that we're above showing such a harrowing video, however, a quick search of our frontpage will declare otherwise.
