Mozzer to write autobiography

Morrissey has told Janice Long on BBC Radio 2 that he is writing an autobiography in order to clear up the fact that "So much crap is written about me, it's hard to live with sometimes. It all gets burned down in history and becomes a part of your legacy."

When asked by Long whether this had stemmed from a recent spat with the NME, which the singer felt painted him as a racist, he replied, "Well, many, many things. But with every printed interview there's lots of mis-quotes and lots of them are really silly and really extreme and you have to live with them for the rest of your life. So, it's setting the record straight, and things like that."

If all the stories over the years about Mozzer are to be believed then this should be a good read. But as he seems to be saying that they're not, then maybe it won't be. We'll just have to wait and see.
