Oasis LP to get the Guitar Hero treatment

It seems like there is a new genre in town...as well as CD, vinyl and download, any band worth its salt now releases new music via the medium of Guitar Hero. The latest to leap aboard the bandwagon is none other than Oasis, with their latest LP Dig Out Your Soul to be made available on the forthcoming Guitar Hero World Tour. It strikes us that an Oasis Guitar Hero sounds really easy (in fact even easier than it normally would; 'To Be Where There's Life' containing three chords fewer than usual Oasis tunes, what with it having no guitars on it at all), but it should be a lot of fun. The game is out in America on October 26th. As of November 6th, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to dad rock it up to 'Waiting for the Rapture', blues it up to the rather marvellous 'Bag it Up', or play the same chords over and over again to 'The Shock of the Lightning'. The rest of the album will follow next year.
