Oasis announce Autumn Tour

Aug 15, 2008

Following the first play of new single, 'The Shock Of The Lightning' on UK radio today and the leak of album track, 'Falling Down' yesterday, Oasis have announced that they will be embarking on a UK arena tour in the Autumn.

The band will hit the road immediately after releasing seventh studio album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.

Having told Cris Moyles on Radio 1 that the band won't play the O2 due to the fact that the venue sells nachos, it seems that the brothers Gallagher will instead pitch up at Wembley Arena instead. Let's hope that no one tells Noel that the cheesy snacks are also available there, or we could have a crisis of epic proportions on our hands.....

Oasis will play:

Liverpool Echo Arena (October 7, 8)

Sheffield Arena (10, 11)

Birmingham NIA (13, 14)

London Wembley Arena (16, 17)

Bournemouth BIC (20, 21)

Cardiff International Arena (23, 24)

Belfast Odyssey Arena (29, 30)

Aberdeen Exhibition Centre (November 1, 2)

Glasgow SECC (4, 5)

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9am (BST) on Wednesday (August 20).

The band release their new album, 'Dig Out Your Soul', on October 6th preceded by 'The Shock Of The Lightning' on September 29th.
