Suge Knight in even more dramatic financial loss than 50 Cent

What is it with hip hop at the moment? Hot on the heels of yesterday's in no way insensitive whinge from 50 Cent about the perils of the credit crunch comes the news that Suge Knight is also suffering financial woes. In fairness, Knight genuinely looks to be in the shit, with the Death Row Records co-founder having had his $6.2m Malibu mansion sold in bankruptcy court for the bargain price of $4.56m.
Since Death Row filed for bankruptcy protection back in 2006, both Warner and Global Music Group have tried to muscle in and acquire the ailing former home of Dre, Tupac and Snoop. A typically understated and low key Knight has had a rough time of it, having attempted to sue Kanye West, accusing the Barstow Police Department of nicking a diamond earring, as well as being accused of beating his girlfriend.
